Experience
Christof can look back on 20 years of experience in the ropeway and mass transit industry.
He started his professional career with a leading manufacturer of rope-propelled transportation systems. There he gained extensive expertise in the field of urban ropeways and local passenger transport systems. He has held various positions ranging from system engineer, to the head of project planning and development in sales, to the director for business development with the responsibility for marketing, sales and project planning, product management and controlling as a member of the management team. In 2011, Christof founded the consulting and planning company zatran, where he serves as the managing director and is active as a project manager and transport expert in the operational business.
Christof is a profound expert in ropeway technology and local public passenger transport and has excellent expertise in planning, calculation, design and codes & standards for ropeways and the various transport technologies for mass transit. He also has extensive experience in the bidding and execution phases of complex public procurement processes or tenders especially for urban ropeways and Automated Guideway Transit (AGT) projects, both from a technical and commercial point of view. In addition, he plays important roles as an consultant in corporate strategy processes and can logically link technical and marketing topics.
